Beach volleyball is a sport that is developing all over the country, with more and more colleges adding it to their program. In today’s generation, players are beginning to play volleyball at a much younger age. Beach volleyball is another opportunity for young athletes to grow further in the sport, and have different opportunities for recruitment.
GROUP PLACEMENT TRYOUT FRIDAY APRIL 3RD!!
(SEASON IS FROM april 20th THRU JULY 10TH)

Beach season is here!! It’s time to get our toes back in the sand. At Hernando elite beach the girls are trained to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Our tryouts consist of players going through drills and workouts to see what they know and what group they belong in. Our groups are not based on age; they are based on experience and knowledge of what the athletes know in the sand. The last day to register for tryouts is MARCH 30TH!!! Payment of $425 will be due the day of tryouts as well as shirt and short sizes for season. Once players are added to the team, payment will secure the players spot and beach gear will be ordered. PRACTICES FOR SEASON WILL NOT BEGIN UNTIL WEEK OF APRIL 20TH AS SOON AS PLAYERS ARE SELECTED FOR THEIR GROUP, THEY WILL FIND OUT WHAT DAYS THEY WILL HAVE PRACTICE. PRACTICE COULD BE MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY OR TUESDAY AND THURSDAY BASED ON THE GROUP. COACHES UNDERSTAND THAT MOST YOUNG PLAYERS ARE STILL ELEMENTRY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL THAT BEING SAID THEY ARE USUALLY THE LATER PRACTICE TIME AT 5:30. This program consist of two practices a week at Tom Varn Park. Depending on what group the players make their practices could be on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. the times of practice are 3:30 or 5:30. We do our best as a club to accommodate times to work for everyone as best as we can, so please if you have any further questions on how tryouts are and how practice schedules usually GO, please let us know, you can reach coach Halie at 352-263-9087.

ALL PROGRAMS WILL HAVE 3-5 COACHES WORKING WITH THE GIRLS AT PRACTICE WHICH IS GREAT FOR ALL GIRLS TO BE ABLE TO EXPERIANCE SOME INDIVIDUAL TRAINING

Mini Beach Program (Ages 5-8)

PRACTICES WILL BE TWICE A WEEK EITHER MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY OR TUESDAY AND THURSDAY AT 5:30-7:30 AT TOM VARN PARK WE WILL HAVE INFORMATIONAL MEETING ON APRIL 3RD AT 6 OCLOCK AT TOM VARN. THER MEETING WILL BE HELD UNDER THE PAVILION AT THE BEACH COURTS THIS IS WHEN GIRLS WILL MEET THE COACHES SEE WHAT BEACH PRACTICES LOOK LIKE WHILE OUR OTHER AGE GROUPS HAVE TRYOUTS AND DEPOSIT WILL NEED TO BE MADE AT MEETING AFTER CONFIRMING SIZES FOR THEIR TANK TOPS.
